Effective Master Pages
You made a document with 3 columns but you want only one rule line appear, or you want each rule line to be different? Here is how it can be done.
Choose Layout, edit Master Page. The Master Page edit screen allows you to make numerous changes to a particular master page for a document. For example, if you select the Rule line you want to make disappear, you may notice you can’t delete it. However you can change the color with the Line Attributes dialog box to white or unfilled or any other attribute. You can also make one line shorter or appear off center. Experiment all you want.
Close the Master page and see all the changes you made show up on all pages.
